Students, professors, workers and administrative staff of the university sector join this Monday the global campaign No More Trump carried out by the Bolivarian Government, in rejection of the executive order signed in early August by the president of the United States, Donald Trump, in which he imposed to freeze all the assets of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela that are in the Northern nation.
This work has been highlighted by the Minister for University Education, César Trómpiz, indicating that this initiative is “a battle for youth to take the vanguard of the revolutionary government and the anti-imperialist struggle”.
Since last August 10 the worldwide No More Trump campaign was activated, with which they carry out a day to collect signatures with the participation of social and political movements. This activity is scheduled until next September.
These signatures will be taken to the Secretary General of the United Nations Organization (UN), António Guterres, to bring the truth of Venezuela about the unilateral coercive measures imposed by the Trump administration.
With the new executive order endorsed on August 5, the US government intensifies its attacks against Venezuela, actions that it has been executing strongly since the rupture of diplomatic relations between the two countries on January 23.
