The president of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro and the first combatant, Cilia Flores, signed the signature collection card on Saturday in support of the # NoMásTrump, #NoMoreTrump campaign, which began the world protest day against of the economic blockade imposed by the government of the United States (USA) on the country, which intends to freeze the assets of Venezuela in that nation.
“I come to call the people to fight, to charge, to act against Trump. I come to call you to look up to the flag of the Homeland and say that Venezuela is respected. We have to enforce the strength and legacy of the Homeland of the liberators”, said the Head of State after the signing, before a crowd that moved itself to the Sucre Avenue in Caracas.
From this space, he stressed that Venezuelans are prepared for their absolute independence, achieved in the last 20 years, to overcome the unilateral and illegal financial blockade of the United States.
With this campaign, it is expected to collect more than thirteen million signatures, which will be delivered to the Secretary General of the United Nations Organization (UN), Antonio Guterres, in repudiation to the economic sanctions that seek to bend the will of the Venezuelan people.
